Privacy Policy — Dance Card

Last updated: May 20, 2026

Dance Card (“the app”) is designed with your privacy as a default, not an afterthought. This policy explains what data the app uses and where it lives.

What the app stores

Dance Card stores the following information locally on your device:

All of this information is saved using your device’s local storage. It never leaves your device. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no servers, and no cloud sync.

What the app does not do

Push notifications

Dance Card can send local reminders for upcoming classes and studio events. These notifications are scheduled entirely on your device — no data is sent to any server to generate them. You can turn notifications off at any time in Settings → Notifications, or in your device’s system Settings → Notifications → Dance Card.

Your data, your control

Because all data is stored locally on your device, you are in complete control:

The developer has no access to your data and cannot recover it on your behalf.

Children

The app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone. It has no data collection mechanism whatsoever, making it suitable for all ages.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a meaningful way (for example, if a future version adds cloud sync), the updated policy will be published at this same URL before the update is released.
